Place the neoprene ear cover gently over the affected ear, ensuring it sits comfortably without pulling or pressing on the wound. 3. Fasten the integrated straps securely to your pet's existing neck collar to hold the cover in position. 4. Check the fit regularly — it should be snug but not restrictive, and you should be able to slide a finger underneath the straps. 5. Remove the ear cover as directed by your vet to inspect the wound, clean the area, or change any dressings. 6. Discontinue use and consult your vet if your pet shows signs of discomfort, skin irritation, or if the wound appears to worsen.
