The Vet Store Reusable Hot & Cold Therapy Pack is a vet-grade first aid essential designed to support your pet's comfort and recovery at every stage. Whether your dog has suffered a sprain on a walk or your cat is healing after surgery, targeted temperature therapy can meaningfully reduce pain, inflammation, and stiffness in the affected area.

Used cold, the gel pack helps bring down swelling and bruising in the crucial first hours after an injury or procedure. Simply chill it in the freezer, wrap in a cloth, and apply to the site for short, controlled sessions. Used warm, the same pack soothes tight muscles, eases arthritic joints, and provides gentle comfort to older pets dealing with chronic discomfort.

The durable, flexible gel construction means the pack moulds comfortably around your pet's body, ensuring even contact with the treatment area. Reusable and easy to clean, it's a practical, cost-effective addition to any home pet first aid kit — and a tool you'll reach for again and again.

N/A — Non-ingestible physical therapy device. Contains non-toxic gel sealed within a durable flexible outer casing.

COLD THERAPY: Place pack in the freezer for a minimum of 2 hours. Remove, wrap in a damp cloth or thin towel, and apply to the affected area for 10–15 minutes. Repeat every 1–2 hours as needed during the first 24–48 hours after injury or surgery.

HOT THERAPY: Submerge sealed pack in hot water for 5–10 minutes, or microwave in 20-second intervals until warm throughout. Always test temperature on your wrist before use. Wrap in a cloth and apply to the affected area for 10–15 minutes. Suitable for ongoing use to ease joint stiffness or muscle tension.

Never apply directly to bare skin or open wounds. Do not leave your pet unattended during therapy. If your pet shows signs of distress, remove the pack immediately. Always consult your vet if you are unsure whether temperature therapy is appropriate for your pet's condition.

Keep out of reach of children and pets when not in use. Never apply the pack directly to open wounds, broken skin, or bare skin without a protective cloth layer. Always test temperature before applying to your pet. Do not overheat in the microwave — overheating may damage the seal. Inspect the pack before every use; discontinue use if the outer casing is punctured or leaking. Store flat in a cool, dry place away from sharp objects. The gel inside is non-toxic but is not intended for ingestion — if the pack is punctured and gel is consumed by your pet, contact your vet.

Yes, this therapy pack is suitable for dogs, cats, and small animals. It can be shaped and secured around most body areas, making it versatile for pets of different sizes and breeds. Always wrap the pack in a thin cloth before applying to your pet's skin or fur to prevent discomfort.

Place the gel pack in the freezer for at least two hours before use. Once chilled, wrap it in a damp cloth or thin towel and apply gently to the affected area for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. Cold therapy is ideal for reducing swelling, bruising, and inflammation after sprains, strains, or surgery.

To use as a warm pack, submerge the sealed pack in hot water for 5 to 10 minutes, or heat in a microwave in short 20-second intervals until comfortably warm. Always test the temperature on your wrist before applying to your pet. Warm therapy is particularly helpful for easing stiff joints, muscle tension, and chronic aches in older or arthritic pets.

This pack is designed for repeated use. With proper care — avoiding punctures, tears, and extreme overheating — it can be used many times over. Always inspect the pack before each use. If the gel seal is damaged or the pack shows any signs of leaking, discontinue use immediately and replace it.
