Attach the clip securely to your dog's collar or harness D-ring before each walk. Allow your dog to move freely up to the full 5m length during training exercises such as recall and distance commands. Keep a firm grip on the handle at all times and never wrap the lead around your hand or wrist. Check the clip and stitching regularly for signs of wear and replace if damaged.

Always supervise your dog when using a long lead. Do not leave a long lead attached to an unsupervised dog. Check the clip and stitching before every use and discontinue use if any damage is found.
