Measure your dog's hind leg carefully using the Ortocanis sizing guide before ordering to ensure the correct fit. With your dog standing or calmly resting, gently position the brace over the affected knee, ensuring the aluminium splints sit flush against the inside and outside of the joint. Secure the adjustable fastenings from bottom to top, ensuring a snug but comfortable fit — you should be able to slide two fingers underneath the brace. Introduce wearing time gradually over the first few days, monitoring for any signs of rubbing, swelling, or discomfort. Check the brace and underlying skin regularly, especially after exercise.
